ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY

The University of Agder (UiA) is situated on the southern tip of Norway and has locations on two campuses, Kristiansand and Grimstad. The university has approximately 10 000 students and 1100 academic and administrative staff members. It is one of the newest universities in Norway, but its history goes back to 1839.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

"Smak på studiebyen din" is a minor print publication from UiA. It's part of a larger composition of welcome materials that get sent to potential students who have applied for one of the many study programmes.

This 24 pages pamphlet was a result of a close collaboration with the university's buddy organization - a board consisting of 10-12 members who organize ~550 buddies. The buddies' tasks are to welcome new students and integrate them.

The pamphlet consists of plenty of great offers, e.g. festivals and conserts, free entrance to the famous Zoo, a legendary boat cruise to Denmark etc.
